In case you have a seizure while you're in the bathroom: make sure the bathroom door opens outwards; use an “occupied“ sign rather than a lock; fill the bathtub only partway (or use the shower, with a safety strap if necessary). |

Try to make it safe around your home in case you fall during a seizure. Don't leave things lying around on the floor. |

Use the right safety equipment when taking part in sports. |

When you’re swimming, make sure someone is there who will know what to do if you have a seizure. It’s also a good idea to wear a life vest when you’re near water. |
